Cap Badge worn by Non-European members of the South African Police from 1913 to 1926
Non-European members of the SA Police wore White Metal or Chrome Insignia until 1977 when all races wore insignia in a "gilt" finish. This Cap Badge was worn from 1913 to 1926 following the second official language, Dutch, changing to Afrikaans in 1925. The words 'Zuid Afrikaanse Politie' changed to 'Suid Afrikaanse Poliesie'.
