Chris Lee Deputy Chief Constable Dorset Police
Chris Lee joined the Metropolitan Police in 1981 and in 1994 moved to Hampshire on promotion to Superintendent. Whilst in Hampshire he had command of two busy City Divisions in Southampton. 

In 1999 he was appointed as Assistant Chief Constable in Dorset Police. In this post he had responsibility for all Operational Policing in Dorset. The Operations portfolio includes responsibility for the four geographic Divisions, the investigation of major and serious crime and for all specialist support to Operational policing,
including the Drugs squad.

In 2002 he was appointed Deputy Chief Constable with responsibility for Human Resources, Professional Standards Department, Quality & Development, Partnership and Diversity Development Team and Media and
Corporate Communications Department.
