Davina Logan QPM Deputy Chief Constable Northamptonshire Police
Davina Logan joined Northamptonshire Police on 8 November 2004, on promotion to Deputy Chief Constable (Operations).

Davina has 31 years service, the first two and a half years were in the Metropolitan Police, and between 1978 and 2001 she served with Thames Valley Police. Her career has been mainly operational, with two short interludes, the first as as a Physical Training Instructor at Chantmarle District Training Centre in Dorset for two years, the other of three years where she gained a 2:1 B.A.(Hons) Degree in Politics and Sociology at Reading University.

Her last two roles in Thames Valley were 2½ years as Area Commander of a large rural area of South and West Oxfordshire and 3½ years as Head of Training, Education and Development.

She successfully passed the Strategic Command Course in September 2000 and was appointed Assistant Chief Constable (Support) in Leicestershire on 2nd January 2001.  In January 2002 she took on the role of Assistant Chief Constable (Operations).  In June 2003 she then took on the role of ACC (Crime).

She is the ACPO Liaison with the Police Diversity Trainers Network, Regional representative for ACPO TAM (Counter Terrorism), Regional lead for Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) and a Member of ACPO National Intelligence Model (NIM) Working Group.

She endeavours to keep herself fit, enjoys walking, gardening, reading and travelling.

In the New Year Honours 2006, Davina was awarded the Queen's Police Medal for outstanding service to Policing.
