LEEDS CITY POLICE, PC 19 (Poss. TINGEY John George)
I believe this to be John George TINGEY.
If so, he also served as a Met. Police Special Cst. from 17/08/1914 - 04/09/1916.
The armband he is wearing is khaki with a red crown. It is stamped as 'Issued under the authority of the Army Council', and has the serial number of 9226. I have this item.
What is its significance?
