Blackpool Helmet, 1950's

Blackpool Helmet, 1950's, two panel bowler design, chromed balltop and QC helmet plate, black leather centre band. Widely spaced side ventilation holes. This helmet has the holes where the previous KC helmet plate was fitted along with the cross base to the balltop. Additionally the helmet cork and cloth covering are drawn up into the base of the balltop, a feature seemingly unique to Blackpool helmets.
