Alan Pacey

Assistant Chief Constable (Operations) from January 2006, Alan joined BTP in London in 1980 and served in both uniform and CID posts before becoming Detective Inspector being put in charge of the Specialist Crime Squads in 1989. Having worked as a Chief Inspector and Detective Chief Inspector on the London Underground & DLR Area, Alan became the Area Commander of the Wales and Western Area as a Chief Superintendent in 2003.
