WEST RIDING CONSTABULARY, POLICE HOUSE This photo shows what I believe is a Police House located at 40 Wellington Street, Mexborough (near Doncaster). I believe the girl in the photo to be Amelia BARTHORPE of 44 Wellington Street. This card is one of four that show various members of this family and I believe them to date from 1914/15. According to google the address still exists and is identifiable as the same house.
