DONCASTER BOROUGH POLICE DATED 20/OCTOBER/1947 This is a press photo showing a Bedford 'paddy wagon' at the rear of the courthouse. It was transporting George Harry WHELPTON, who was charged with three murders. He was found guilty and executed on the 7th of January 1948.
