METROPOLITAN POLICE MOUNTED BRANCH Photo taken ; 29/August/1966 Featured here is a horse called 'Where's Charlie'. H was a retired racehorse, and at the age of 11 years was presented to the Met. After training he went onto street duties and was involved in crowd control at the world cup final at Wembley. He was also involved in crowd control at Shepherds Bush police station after the three officers were shot.
