NOTTINGHAM CITY POLICE, Percival James PINNOCK A.F.M. By the position of the insignia on his shoulder I would think he might be a Superintendent. During WW2 he was a member of the R.A.F.V.R. and worked as a flying instructor. In 1946 he was awarded the Air Force Medal, being gazetted on 01/January/1946. He also wears the 1939/45 Defence and War medals as well as the Police Long Service medal.
