Wiltshire - New Head of CID will have a 'hands on' role

Wiltshire Constabulary this morning welcomed the new Head of CID, Detective Chief Superintendent Mike Veale, who takes over from Paul Howlett.

Mike, 39, worked with Avon & Somerset Police for some 23 years, and came to Wiltshire Constabulary in January this year, having been promoted to the role of Detective Superintendent responsible for the Headquarters Operations Department. This included the Economic Crime Unit, Hi Tech Crime Unit, On-line Paedophile Investigation Unit and the Force Surveillance Team
